The Great Fish of Jonah — A Possible Creation Witness on the Sinai Peninsula

This exploration centers on a remarkable fish-shaped landform discovered through satellite imagery. Our purpose is to investigate this site as a possible creation witness connected to the biblical account of Jonah, maintaining the primacy of Scripture while observing the testimonies written in the earth.

Anatomy of the Discovery

1. Overall Body Shape

The continental-scale pattern reveals a defined pisciform (fish-like) silhouette spanning the lower portion of the peninsula, oriented as if swimming through the geography.

2. Head & Facial Profile

A detailed observation of the forward region reveals a structure visually comparable to a facial profile, consistent with a large aquatic specimen.

3. Open Mouth & Inward Passage

The geographic formation includes a distinct open region leading into the 'body' of the shape, providing a visual parallel to the biblical narrative of entry.

4. The Eye Region

Located precisely where an eye would be expected in such a profile, this focal point adds striking anatomical detail to the observation.

5. Belly & Internal Chamber

The internal curvature suggesting a 'belly' or chamber region invites reflection on the space prepared by God for Jonah's three-day stay.

6. Geographic Scale

The positioning of this formation at the heart of the Sinai Peninsula—the very geographic crossroads of the biblical world—supports its role as a possible sign.

Exploration Notes

The Continental Titans research approach places Scripture first, with Jesus Christ at the center of all inquiry. We view creation as a witness to His power; thus, the Great Fish landform is explored as a possible sign. The reader is called to carefully examine, test, and decide what they believe based on the evidence before them, never placing geographic theory above the Word of God.
